Bending Classification - Straight line

The following two tables include structures with 6 or more base pairs given sigma2(straight line) is smaller than the corresponding values of the competing models.

For structures with 6 base pairs the straight line is the only geometrical model that can be fitted. In these cases sigma2 (straight line) has to be analyzed in order to decide whether or not a straight line is really a good description of the helical axis. Three duplex structures with straight helical axes are shown below as examples. More detailed visual and other information for all structures can be obtained from the links given in the Tables.
